Located at the crossroads of Jumeirah Beach road and Al Sufouh road, Madinat Jumeirah is a souk with a very oriental architecture.
Within the souk are souvenir stores, restaurants including the delicious South African steakhouse Meat Co, antique shops, jewelry stores and bars including one of Dubai's best salsa bars, Trade Vic's. A man-made river runs through the center of the souk, alongside the Jumeirah palaces, including Al Qasr and Mina A'Salam.
